A map of the hidden location of June Dog Jam 2012 was found today. Field locator Joshua Grenell spent a good 30 mins, trying to locate the field on Sunday June 17th to no avail. He had previously been to the field in March and early April but was unable to find it on Sunday so he returned home. After this attempt, he decided to study the maps on the internet(World Wide Web), and at city hall(parking ticket center). After speaking with local historian Darrin "the beard" Nelson, he went back out today and after only 15 mins(25) of searching he was able to locate the park.
Several moms were at the park with their children getting ready for a pee wee softball game. "How the &%$# did you find this place!?!' Joshua started shouting at the mothers. After covering their children's ears, one of the mothers stated that she came here every week on Tuesdays. "Uh huh" Josh said and then went about his business assessing the field for power supply, dog safety, field speed potential, ground give, and gopher hole coverage. After the 3rd mother asked him to get off the field he made his way to the toilet to make sure it was working as well.
Amazingly the area that is so hard to find, quickly filled up with people for a couple of softball games. This made Josh fairly uncomfortable so he decided to call it a day and head home. An hour later he had traveled the 5 miles and pulled into his driveway.
June Dog Jam is a Rochesterfest Event held annually in June. June Dog Jam is celebrating its 7th year. Joshua Grenell has been working night shifts so as such he should not be trusted around carbohydrates, power tools, beta blockers, or cotton candy.
Make your way out to June Dog Jam 2012 for the midwest's top frisbee dog action this Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon and 10 am respectively. We expect Josh to arrive sometime Monday morning.
